My idea for an ending that will make Half Life 3 what it needs to live up to be: Gordon dies, and the player assumes the role of Alyx for about the last hour of gameplay. She now has an immeasurable hatred for the Combine: they took her father, mother, and now the love of her life. She puts on the HEV suit that made Gordon once invincible, for now she is going to need every advantage to bring an end to the combine, once and for all. Your move Valve ;)... Alyx and all other Half Life character belong to Valve Software.

you know something? that sound like a paradox, i mean, they are some theorys talk Gman is Gordon Freeman from the future so, that means if in some part of the game, if Gordon Freeman die, that mean Gman can disapear because the theorys say gman is gordon from the future?
(sorry for my englis, i speak spanish and its a bit hard speak and write on english)

Lol no.Gman is not Gordon from the future,In Shephard's diary,he is recognized as A GMAN.That means there is more than one.

Well there is no proof that gman in freeman, so without proof it isn't a paradox :)
